Our annual "Meet and Greet" Open House has been scheduled for Monday, August 25th. Grades K-2 are invited to visit STE from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Kindergarten parents should arrive promptly at 5:00 since the teachers will want to share information with you as a group in their respective classrooms. Grades 3-5 are invited to visit STE from 6:00-7:00 p.m. We're looking forward to a productive school year!!

Scott Teays Elementary will receive $2.4 million from the School Building Authority and another $500,000 from the Board of Education for an extensive renovation and addition. The projected start date for actual construction at this time is December, 2008. The addition will be completed first and then the older structure will be renovated. This major project will eliminate portable classrooms at Scott Teays and house the student body under one roof! (Updated May 2, 2008)
