- We have completed our new reading series for this year and are now working in a supplemental text, Just In Time. Our story next week, (May 12 - 16), is "The Pine Park Mystery". New words are: cornered, object, clasp, caused, confused, typical, removes, ordinary, silver, charm bracelet, bored, badge, myserious, whistle, detective, and mynah bird.
- In math we are continuing to review several second grade skills as well as working on multiplication tables through 5 x 12. We will be completing our Investigations study in collecting and recording data.
- Our spelling lesson is #32 and our test will be this Friday as usual. This is also a supplemental lesson but will follow the same schedule as before.

- Field trip money is due Friday, May 16th.
- Planning period is 8:00 - 8:40 AM daily
- Planners need to be checked and signed daily
- School carnival is May 17th, 11 - 4 PM. Have you signed up to work?
- Field Day has been scheduled for May 30th
- Book fair by Scholastic books, May 19th - 23rd
