| Student Vehicle Driving and Parking

Driving to school is a privilege; the school has the right to determine which students may drive. Driving privileges may be revoked at any time for those students who exhibit poor academic or social behaviors. The rules for driving are: No speeding, squealing tires or reckless driving. Parking must be in designated parking areas. Students must register the vehicle and obtain a parking permit after emergency and health cards have been returned. Students may be charged for this permit. Parking permits must be displayed on the designated location on the vehicle. Failure to do so may result in towing. A student may drive to the Career Center if a permit is granted form both the Career Center administration and the school administration. Students may not drive other students to the Center. Late arrival to school more than three times will result in suspension of the driving privilege. Without administrative permission, a student may not go to the parking area during the school day. Each school may establish additional driving and parking rules.
