Eligibility for Putnam County Pre-K:  Your child's birthdate must be between September 1, 2008 and August 31, 2009.  The only exceptions to this age rule are if your child has an IEP that shows developmental delays in two or more areas or your child was enrolled in Putnam County Pre-K for the 2012-13 school year and your child's teacher, based on the Early Learning Scale Assessment, feels that your child is not ready for kindergarten in the 2013-14 school year.  Five year old first time enterers will be considered only after they have been screened with a kindergarten readiness test.
